singing from the rooftops to have been voted ‘Best Restaurant’ in this year’s Muddy Stilettos Awards. It really is a tremendous feeling to have gained such recognition after what has been an incredibly tough year for us all.
The last 12-months have had some of KIBOU’s best and worst moments. Faced with social distancing, we knew we would never be able to run our small basement restaurant again, so as you know, we sadly had to close the doors to guests in March last year. Then, when the chance of larger premises came up, after pinching ourselves 101 times, we decided to take the bull by the horns and grow a little larger. A risky endeavour during such turbulent times, especially as no one could predict when restaurants would be able to reopen again. But we did it, and goodness, how glad we are that we did.
We’ve always valued our guests at KIBOU and your support, kindness and well, just love of Japanese food, helped us make the restaurant that you see today.
