Bringing the taste of Tokyo to Battersea, KIBOU is a must for any sushi or ramen lover in London.
Opening in 2020, KIBOU has soon become one of South West London’s favourite Japanese restaurants, known for its quirky interiors, vast Tokyo life-inspired murals, and stunning network of ancient cherry blossom trees.
Plus of course, our extensive menu of classic and contemporary Japanese hot food and sushi, weekly changing specials, and the warmest of welcomes adds to our appeal.
The Menu
Dive into steaming bowls of ramen, freshly prepared katsu curry, pillowy steamed bao buns and a fresh selection of poke bowls. You’ll also find an extensive range of handmade to order sushi and sashimi, including our much-talked-about volcano roll – salmon, avocado and tobiko futomaki, tempura fried and served with KIBOU house sauce, and stunning Jo Moriawase sushi sharing platters.
Plus, get into the Japanese spirit with a visit to our standalone cocktail bar. Here, some of the best names in Japanese whisky jostle for shelf space with a premium range of sake and umeshu, great wines and some truly elegant Japanese-inspired cocktails.

Our Bentos are Back!
We’re lifting the lid on tasty lunchtimes with the return of our popular Bento Box. Available for lunchtimes only (excluding Friday’s in Cheltenham), our Bento Boxes are great if you’re looking for an affordable KIBOU-fix during your lunch break.
A staple Japanese ‘go-to’ lunch option, these super-delicious boxes offer the chance to try a range of items, with individual compartments each containing a portion of some of our most popular dishes. Plus miso soup is served on the side with every Bento.
Available for walk-in guests and bookings, head to the restaurant and let your Bento Box adventure begin!
Bottomless Sushi – Battersea
Available from 12pm to 3pm every Sunday, enjoy a selection of Japanese small plates to share, plus an unlimited assortment of house nigiri, maki and gunkan.
Priced at just £34 per person, the menu can also be enjoyed with an unlimited drinks package that includes a selection of Japanese-inspired mimosa (Yuzu or Cherry & Elderflower), Kirin Ichiban lager, prosecco, or house wine for an additional £21 per person. Or for a non-alcoholic alternative, you can opt for KIBOU’s favourite Rhubarb & Jasmine Fizz along with house sodas for just £15 per person.

£23 per person for KIBOU classic afternoon tea.
Featuring tasters of some of our most popular dishes alongside other traditional Japanese sweets. Served with a choice of Japanese teas and infusions as standard, or opt for one of our accompanying drinks packages; Taittinger Brut Réserve Champagne, signature KIBOU cocktail or Junmai Tokubetsu sake.
Alongside this, we’re also offering a matcha tea option, which includes a bowl of steaming matcha tea hand whisked at your table.
