What a night! The very first Tokyo Nights at KIBOU Oxford kicked off our summer party series in true KIBOU style — full of good vibes, great music, and even better sushi.
With the garden packed from early evening, the space came alive with laid-back beats, colourful cocktails and that unmistakable summer buzz. As the sun set over Little Clarendon Street, the tunes picked up, the cocktails kept coming, and the whole garden settled into the Tokyo groove.
A Big First Night
From 7pm, the DJ brought the feel-good energy, playing a mix of chilled-out favourites and old-school party classics. Guests grabbed their spot in the garden, ordered a few rounds of cocktails, and dug into delicious sushi rolls and sharing plates from the main menu.
By 9pm, our cocktail Happy Hour was in full swing, and the garden was buzzing with friends catching up, couples enjoying a night out, and a few spontaneous dance moves here and there. It was everything we hoped it would be, and more!
As Imi, our GM, told Ox in a Box:
