KIBOU Solihull

We’re delighted to announce that we’re spreading our wings again and will be opening our 4th KIBOU Japanese Kitchen & Bar in Solihull this April.

Designed with a vision to transport guests to the eclectic and exotic streets of Tokyo, KIBOU Solihull will feature trademark frieze panel murals and projector animations created by talented Gloucestershire artist, Martyna Sabadasz, against a backdrop of opulent Japanese block print textiles and wallcoverings.

The 70-cover restaurant and bar will include a range of dining areas plus a standalone marble decked bar and open sushi kitchen with high-top seating.

Outside the restaurant will benefit from an additional 25-cover Japanese-inspired terrace, offering guests the opportunity to dine amidst a canopy of vibrant golden acers.

The menu at KIBOU Solihull will centre on all the KIBOU classics – our signature sushi rolls, including the much-loved volcano roll, alongside more traditional favourites such as hand-pressed nigiri and the freshest of sashimi. You’ll also find steaming bowls of ramen, made with pork, chicken or vegan broth, crisp tempura, including softshell crab, a selection of pillowy steamed bao buns and handmade gyoza with a variety of fillings.

A must-try for any Japanese food lover and those eager to taste Japanese cuisine for the first time, our menu also includes an extended vegan offering, a generous range of ‘moriawase’ sharing platters, and an elegantly rich menu of Japanese-inspired desserts.

Plus, like other sites, the Solihull restaurant will feature a standalone bar serving signature Japanese-inspired cocktails, no-and-low options, an ambitious selection of Japanese whisky, sake and umeshu, Japanese brewed beers and authentic high-balls.

We can’t wait to open our doors in this bustling part of the West Midlands and to continue the KIBOU journey.
